FPBS built two agentic AI applications to answer the questions every inventor faces when commercializing technology. After industry agents finish their research, an expert agent selects the top companies to pursue and writes a full report with sources so the reader can judge the work.
Most post-aerospace consulting engagements here have focused on helping people develop and commercialize technology. Clients usually need to know who would adopt the offering and who might fund its development. These apps were built for that work—and run on modern LLM engineering, including multi-agent research, MCP tools, and report generation.
App 1 — Industry adoption assessment
Spawns 24 agents that canvass 24 industries to determine who would adopt a technology and why, then estimates how much each company may purchase per year. Twenty-four industries is deliberate: technology is not always adopted by the industry it was aimed at.
App 2 — Funding source assessment
Assesses who across those same industries could fund development through contracts, grants, or teaming arrangements, and estimates each company’s probability of providing funding.
Case study — CVD graphene
Both apps were run against a new material FPBS is helping develop: chemical vapor deposition graphene, manufactured as a one-atom-thick sheet a meter wide on a continuous roll, with over 25 times the tensile strength of steel at far lower density, plus strong electrical and thermal properties.
The reports below were produced with a frontier LLM (OpenAI GPT 5.4). That model made the best use of the research tools provided, produced a professional 300+ page document in about 90 minutes, and accomplished research that would have taken months by hand. The reports are unedited apart from cover branding. Due diligence is warranted before acting on them.
